Central Oregon Daily News Features Wickiup Station Video, Article

Central Oregon Daily published an article with a video feature on Wickiup Station, capturing the celebration as Phase I of the community reached completion.

Foundation for Affordable Housing (FFAH) Co-Founder Deb Willard spoke to the growth La Pine has seen in recent years and how far behind the supply of affordable housing has fallen. Chief Strategy Officer Tommy Waldron talked about what that means on the ground, that keeping rents affordable allows people to stay in their jobs and stay in the community instead of getting priced out by rising housing costs.

Resident Service Manager Robin Sanderson also shared a moving story about a new tenant’s reaction to their apartment’s accessibility features, which serves as an excellent reminder of what really motivates the team at FFAH to keep doing the work that we do.
