Resident children of Creekside Apartments in Cathedral City, CA and Harvest Glen Apartments in Rialto, CA were offered free swim lessons this summer. The partnership comprised of Sunsational Swim School, Embrace and the building owners was able to offer a series of five or six swim lessons to those children who were interested in taking advantage of this very unique opportunity.
The focus of the swim lessons was basic swim skills and water safety. As many parents at the properties do not know how to swim, the partnership felt it was important to provide basic skills that would allow a child to feel comfortable in the pool and to understand how to get to get to safety in case of an emergency. More than ten children at each property participated in the program which we consider a huge success.
