Foundation for Affordable Housing is pleased to announce the promotion of Tommy Waldron to Chief Strategy Officer. Tommy brings his triple bottom line focus of balancing social needs, fostering environmental responsibility, and enhancing the financial health of the organization.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Tommy will:
- Implement the vision of Senior Management
- Oversee investment policy, allocations, property acquisitions and dispositions
- Perform day-to-day Asset Management duties of the Foundation’s Wholly Owned Portfolio
- Expand and maintain mutually beneficial relationships within the industry
Tommy lives in Bend, Oregon, with his wife, daughter, and two dogs. He loves the Bend community, clear air, clean water, and exploring all things outdoors. His Michigan upbringing instilled a love for winter activities such as downhill skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, and outdoor socializing in cold weather. In summertime, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, river floats, and a great outdoor concert.
While Tommy loves travel and experiencing different cultures, he recognizes that happiness comes from within. He relishes the challenges of working with a variety of stakeholders to educate and push forward affordable housing. He is grateful to work with the many unsung heroes of this industry who create enormous impact on communities and families.
