For over twenty years, Embrace has provided services that improve the lives of people of all ages who live at the housing communities owned and/or managed by The Foundation for Affordable Housing. These life changing services are provided at no cost to our residents through your generous donations. 100% of donations go directly to residents.
Supporting Families
Parents and children benefit greatly from the after-school activities that Embrace facilitates. Children can participate in activities like homework club and computer labs. They receive mentorship from our Embrace Service Coordinators and other participants. We provide recreational and skill-building activities that focus on health, nutrition, physical exercise, art, music, and more.
For parents, we offer ‘no-cost’ programs that educate and empower. These programs enhance parents’ skillsets which helps the family thrive.
Supporting Seniors
At our senior properties, we encourage an active resident lifestyle and provide opportunities to interact through classes, clinics, and social events tailored to the specific interests of each community.
We have a host of activities and information that helps our senior residents maintain wellness, continue learning, receive the support of a case manager who can refer them to needed services, and most of all, have fun!
These activities build community and keep seniors engaged which has a positive effect on their well-being and raises their quality of life. Our programs help seniors live independently and thrive.
